TREE PLANTATION DRIVE
Every year GitaRam Institute of Management organizes a Tree Plantation Programme as a token initiative to promote awareness among students on environmental degradation and to reiterate our responsibility towards planet Earth. The students of our institute make all arrangements and also actively participate in this programme by delivering speeches on current environmental challenges and also by organizing cultural events. The students and the teachers take part in plantation of saplings in and around our college premises.
GIM management is thankful to West Bengal Forest Department for providing saplings free of cost.
POSTER MAKING COMPETITION
Ragging is a criminal offence as per Supreme Court Verdict. So GitaRam Institute of Management located in Murshidabad arranged a poster making competition. The theme was anti ragging awareness. It was held on 21stMay of 2024 at college campus. It aimed at the students make aware of anti-ragging. A team of twenty-five students from all stream (BBA, BBA in Hospital Management, BCA) participated. They made 14 posters in total. This programme was judged by the faculty members of this college. Sandip Halder, a student of BBA 2nd semester became the winner. NishatTasmin, Atanu Das, Rupsa Ghosh, students from BCA 4th Semester, were awarded the 2nd prize jointly. Md Abu Jabed, Sabira Sultana, DikshaSaha, students from BCA 4th Semester received the 3rd prize together. Later all the posters were put up on the display board so that other students can see and be aware of the anti-ragging.
